CSO City Fly, Airport Magdeburg/Cochstedt’s home brand, suspends flight operations for the summer. Due to the considerable decrease in the need for business travel during the holiday period, the Magdeburg-Munich-Bern routes will not be serviced from 18th July to 31st August.

„This was plainly an economical decision which we did not make lightly in our first season as an airline, but really was a logical consequence“, so Uwe Hädicke, CSO City Fly’s General Manager. “As from the 3rd September, we will continue flights to our destinations Munich and Bern from Magdeburg/Cochstedt every week day as per flight plan.”

CSO City Fly intend to amend the slots for Munich and Bern winter schedule slightly to best suit the needs of business travel in particular.

Tickets booked to date for travel in the summer period (18th July to 31st August) will be cancelled and all charges refunded at no cost to the customer.

Tickets for the autumn/winter season will be available again from next week on. Flights can be booked from the 13th July at the latest for travel from September onwards at www.cso-cityfly.de and www.airport-cochstedt.de.
